#qotd: what’s your dream of life?
🎶
The story is all about Natalie Moss and her dreams to get onto a stage for the first time. It’s also about whether she gets to fulfill those dreams or not. She dared to explore beyond her comfort zone, to make a difference on her own without her parents knowing. However, she had to go through a lot of incidents in order to fulfill that. What does it take to be a popular singer?

⏩What I liked ⏪
● A large part of Natalie’s life plays out with her dreams carving out her individual story and many subplots and conflicts that make her way in. Whatever happens in this real world, author put just that.
●I would give the full credit to the author to portray the character of Natalie who is courageous and free-spirited and knows well how to get things done. The book is written in stark prose that only accentuates the jarring emotions that Natalie experienced in her musical journey.
● Apart from that, it immediately opens your mind to a lot of things. That made a difference as we got to learn how important to be creative rather than academically intelligent. And I loved the cover and the title. It’s apt for the book.

⏩What I didn’t like ⏪
Honestly the biggest problem here is the predictable plot which could have been more interesting. And also it somehow lacks the depth of characters. Of course, it was well-defined but I wish it could be more apparent.

⏩ Writing style⏪
Authors’ writing style is good and I really liked how author penned down everything. Language is pretty convenient. Story moves well with steady paced narration treated with well balanced emotions.

⏩Recommendation⏪
As it’s a very easy and quick yet inspirational read, I would definitely recommend this book to young adults.
