Q2. Congratulations for your book ma’am. What’s the significance of the title?
My daughter noticed that I used to always wear power suits to work when I was a tenured professor. Then when I became an entrepreneur, I wore either in ball gowns for a charity gala or yoga pants with my kids near by making deals on my cell phone.
Q3. What do you hope your readers take away from this book?
I want them to be able to create their own successful heart-centered businesses and brands!

Maya Angelou because of her amazing insights into the world of marginalized women.
Q5. What was the first thought which came to your mind that actually persuaded you to write your own book?
It’s time! I need to dig deep and be vulnerable and authentic with this one so that others around the world can learn how!
Q6. Which character inspired you the most and how?
It’s nonfiction, so Sara Blakey the CEO of Spanx has to be the most inspiring boss lady who I researched in the book.
Q7. What did you learn while writing this book?
I learned that the path the successful entrepreneurship is not east for most. Yet, you must hang in there and work through the obstacles.
Q8. What were the difficulties you faced while writing this book?
Honestly, it was the title. It changed so many times until what my daughter had said popped into my head and I knew it was. “Ball Gowns to Yoga Pants”!
Q9. Which is the one thing that writing changed in you?
It gave me an outlet for expressing myself and to help teach others truly internationally. It changed me my ability to provide a service for others which brings me joy.
