AUTHOR’S INTERVIEW OF Greg Muller FOR “Chasing Stomach Butterflies”

Q1. Would you like to introduce yourself to your readers?
Sure, my name is Greg Muller. I was born in the united states, in the farmlands of New York. I grew up writing, but didn’t find a love for reading until later on in life.

Q2. What’s the significance of the title “Chasing Stomach Butterflies”?
I think of that feeling of nervousness in the pit of your stomach, where every part of you is telling you to run away. I think those feelings are something we should look for, and chase down. Not run away from.

Q3. What do you hope your readers take away from this book?
That it is never to late to start developing a creative activity. No matter how busy or long it has been. Picking it up again will give you the motivation, and courage to do it more.

Q4. If you had three wishes, what would they be?
I’d wish for more wishes, Learn how to speak Manadrian, and breathe underwater.

Q5. What was the first thought which came to your mind that actually persuaded you to write your own book?
I don’t know this is a good question. I think it would have to be, I am a writer, I should write something.

Q6. What famous author do you wish would be your mentor?
I am a big fan of the way John Green conducts himself, historically Ernest Hemmingway always seemed really cool.

Q7. What did you learn while writing this book?
Emotions matter, it is what makes a story interesting, without them, it is a flat story with flat people.

Q8. What were the difficulties you faced while writing this book?
Finishing it. I am such a perfection oriented person that saying it is good enough for others was the hardest thing.

Q9. If not writing books, how would you express your creativity?
Poetry, But that is still in the realm of writing, so painting or drawing most likely.

Q10. Any message for your readers?
I hope you enjoy the book.
