🌼⏩What I liked ⏪
Consistently, through its 42 pages, the book rests on art imitating reality. Rise of runners is the kind of books that aims for subtlely and nuance, very often, it turns out to be exactly the kind of stuff that can give you in depth look into the politics, crime and bullying.Operating with a strong gripping legal procedures and emotional core, it has both premise and potential to engage and entertain the readers. In fact, it gives us a plot that doesn’t through up anything new or so but it has moods and moments to stay on with you.Coming in with a lot of expectations, the book has both the depth in writing as well as the emotions of the characters. It is a slow-burn read by design, while that contributes to the intrigue part of the plot. It takes inspiration from what we see around us.With a theme like this, what works is the fact that the whole plot brings the important issue of unseen violence into the open. This whole book is a classic case of what could have been.
🌼⏩ Writing style⏪
Authors’ writing style is simple yet impressive and convenient. Language is basic. Narration plays out really amazing. Characterisation is also good.
