AUTHOR’S INTERVIEW of JEFF JASKOLKA for “TWO ONE FIVE”

Q1.Would you like to introduce yourself to your readers?
A- Hi I’m Jeff Jaskolka. I am an Indie Author in my mid 30’s born and raised in Philadelphia, PA in the United States.

Q2. What inspired you to write this book?
A- I lived a very crazy life and have experienced so many hardships. One of my many days when I was feeling down and depressed, I looked back at all the negativity and just thought to myself, “I’m going to tell my story. The world needs to know it and those going through similar situations need to be assured that I feel your pain.”

Q3. What do you hope your readers take away from this book?
A- I want the reader to feel every single emotion that exists in the spectrum while reading it. I won’t sugar coat. I want any person mentioned in the book who may have read it to feel EVERY emotion you put me through. Whether good or bad, you need to know. Call me selfish or weak but I know I’m neither of those things and I deserve closure. But most important, I want to inspire today’s youth that there is hope whenever you’re feeling hopeless.

Q4. What’s the significance of the title “two one five”?
A- Ah the million dollar question haha! TWO ONE FIVE is a cryptic message that involves two significant things in my life. You must read it to understand.

Q5. Do you like reading? Who is your favourite author?
A- I love reading. Self-help books have gotten me through more than you can imagine! I like Mark Manson. I like Jay Asher. A friend Amber Norton. Myself of course. There’s a few.

Q6. What was the first thought which came to your mind that actually persuaded you to write your own book?
A- To be honest, my first though was, “Time to shake up some people.”

Q7. What famous author do you wish would be your mentor?A-Steven King of course. Can’t get much bigger than him.

Q8. What did you learn while writing this book?
A- I regret many things I’ve done in my past that I wish I could go back and fix in the worst way. There’s people I wish I never met. Then again, who knows where my life would be today if my story didn’t unfold exactly the way it did?

Q9. What were the difficulties you faced while writing this book?
A- Having to relive tragic moments from my past in my mind. Took lots of self medicating to finish the book.

Q10.Any message for your readers?
A- Thank you all. Whether you like the book or dislike. Thank you for taking the time to read. There ain’t a greater gift in this world than a person giving me their time. Positive or negative!
